ABOUT CHARDHAM YATRA

Chardham Yatra by helicopter in 5 nights and 6 days oﬀers you a chance to pay homage to your lords and enjoy some refreshing moments, nestle in the lap of nature. While Yamunotri is the seat of river Goddess Yamuna, Gangotri is dedicated to Goddess Ganga. Badrinath is known as the abode of Lord Vishnu (Badri) and Kedarnath is a shrine dedicated to Lord Shiva.

Char Dham Yatra is one of the popular pilgrimage route in Uttarakhand in North India. Uttarakhand is also growing popular among foreign tourists, who are blessed to see the heavenly natural beauty and Himalayas with a chance to know more about culture of India.

In Hindu religion, the CharDham Yatra have a great importance and it is considered that every Hindu should do Chardham yatra at least once in a lifetime.

DAY 01: BANGALORE – DEHRADUN

Depart Bangalore to Dehradhun ( Bangalore depart 11:15 AM & Dehradun arrival 02:15 PM – Pickup from Dehradun airport and proceed to the hotel – Check in – Rest for a while. In the evening, our representative will brief you about Char Dham Yatra tour at the hotel – Stay at Dehradun.

DAY 02: YAMUNOTRI, KHARSHALI HELIPAD

Guest will checkout from the hotel . They will be picked-up from the Hotel by our representative, and taken to Sahastradhara Helipad, Dehradun.

Fly early morning from Sahastradhara Helipad to Kharshali Helipad. As you arrive at the Kharsali/Barkot helipad for Yamunotri, you will be transferred to your hotel.

After freshening up, you will get palki/pony and leave for VIP Darshan at temple Yamunotri. The main attractions here are Goddess Maa Yamunna and thermal springs at Janki Chatti,

DAY 03: GANGOTRI, HARSHIL HELIPAD

Guest will checkout from the hotel. They will be picked-up from the Hotel and taken to Kharshali Helipad (Yamunotri).

We ﬂy early morning from Kharshali Helipad to Harshil Helipad (Gangotri). As you arrive at the Harshil helipad, you will be transferred to your hotel.

After freshening up, It is advisable that you visit the Gangotri temple. The temple is located at a distance of 22 km from here which will be cover by cab. It will take 50 – 55 minutes.

After Darshan at Gangotri temple, you will get transferred to your hotel .

DAY 04: KEDARNATH, PHATA HELIPAD

Guest will checkout from the hotel . They will be picked-up from the Hotel and taken to Harshil Helipad.

We ﬂy early morning from Harshil Helipad to Phata Helipad. As you arrive at the Phata helipad, you will be transferred to your hotel ( or to temple directly as per situation)

After freshening up, It is advisable that you visit the Kedarnath temple. The temple is located at a distance of 500 mtr. from kedarnath Helipad which will be cover by walk. It will take 15-20 min by walk.

After Darshan at kedarnath temple, proceed to your hotel .

DAY 05 :BADRINATH, BADRI HELIPAD

Guest will checkout from the hotel . They will be picked-up from the Hotel and taken to Phata Helipad.

We fly from Phata Helipad to badrinath Helipad. As you arrive at the Badrinath helipad, you will be transferred to your hotel.

After freshening up, It is advisable that you must visit the Mana Village – Known as the ‘Last village of India’, due to its proximity to the China border by your own where you can see the origin of Saraswathi river

After completing the sightseen check-in, have your lunch. Later, you can relax for some time. Evening Aarti at Badrinath Temple (optional) – Swaran/Chandi Aarti (on additional payment basis directly at Badrinath, not included this package).

DAY 06: DEHRADUN, UTTARAKHAND

Guest will checkout from the hotel . They will be picked-up from the Hotel and taken to Badrinath Temple.

The special Maha Abhishek Pooja is the highlight of this entire yatra. It starts at 0400AM sharp in the morning and last for 2 hours. We have arranged an opportunity for all our guest to sit inside the temple and cherishes the darshan of the Shringar of the deity from close quarters

We ﬂy morning from Badrinath Helipad to Sahastradhara Helipad, Dehradun. As you arrive at the helipad, you are transferred to hotel ( Check in time as per hotel standard policy)- evening visit Haridwar Ganga arthi and other places ( these programs are available only if time permits)

DAY 07: DEHRADUN, UTTARAKHAND

09:30 AM : Checkout visit places near by and proceed to airport to board the return flight to Bangalore departing

Dehradun at 06:35 PM and reaches Bangalore at 09:35 PM

TERMS & CONDITIONS

Available hotel properties at Guptkashi and Yamunotri are Non-Star category and the stay is arranged at best among them. However at Harsil and Badrinath the accommodation standard is 2 Star
Stay at arrival in Dehradun do not include dinner on Day 01
Stay on Day 6 at Dehradun would be 3 star hotel with one breakfast and dinner
SDM TOURS AND TRAVELS reserves the right to postpone/ Cancel ﬂight the timings of ﬂying subjected to weather conditions/ Helicopter Technical Fault/ Pilot illness.
Any extra night stay due to bad weather will be borne by guest themselves
Full amount has to be deposited 25 days prior to date of journey.
Children above the age of 2 years will be considered full ticket.
There is no provision of concession ticket to children or senior citizens.
In case the Char Dham Yatra is delayed due to bad weather or any other unforeseen reasons, The Journey will be conducted on the next available date or the unutilized part of the journey (Rs.15,000/- Dham for each customer) will be refunded
In case of rescheduling the journey from the customer’s side the booking will be treated as cancelled and a fresh booking is required which is subject to availability of seats.
The company has the right to change the itinerary in the event of adverse weather condition or any unforeseen circumstances which is beyond our control
The customer has to bear the proportionate tour cost in case of extended stay or travelling due to any unforeseen reason.
The company will not be responsible for any change in the itinerary due to natural calamity or unforeseen reasons.
OVERWEIGHT CHARGES: ON PER SEAT BASIS ONLY. Overweight charges are applicable @ INR 2500/kg. This will be chargeable to passengers weighing above 75 kg. But excess weight (not exceeding helicopter’s total weight limitation) will only be calculated on the total excess weight above the total permissible weight of all the group members combined, i.e., permissible weight = 75 Kg x (No. of pax). Furthermore, any discrepancy found in the weights of the passengers, which would be chargeable as per the overweight criteria, the same would be collected prior to boarding of ﬂights.
Any guest need to stay at Kedharnath dham need to inform in advance and an additional charges would be applicable for rooms at Kedharnath and it would be a dormitory type with basic facilities

GUIDELINES FOR PASSENGERS

There is very limited space for luggage in the Only 5 kg luggage per passenger will be permitted. Passengers bringing excess baggage would not be allowed to take the same in the chopper. If the passenger wish to carry more luggage , it would be brought through road for which additional cost payable to the ground staff

CANCELLATION POLICY: If passengers wish to cancel their booking, then they will have to pay following cancellation charges:

Upto 45 days before Journey 50% of total tour amount

Upto 30 days before Journey 70% of amount

Upto 20 days before Journey No Refund

BAD WEATHER SITUATION: If you are stuck in a bad weather situation on any particular day out of the 5 days, we will still try to ﬁnish the darshan on next day. In case we are completely unable to visit any dham due to bad weather situation we will refund proportionate money (Rs. 15000/- per Dham). This means that if due to any reason we are unable to do 2 dhams then we will refund the amount according to ﬂying time.
